The Allis-Chalmers 7010, produced from 1980 to 1981, was a powerful row-crop tractor designed for large-scale farming operations. It featured a 4.9-liter (301 cubic inch) six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that produced around 117 horsepower at 2,200 rpm. The engine was liquid-cooled and had a compression ratio of 16.25:1, ensuring efficient performance and durability. The 7010 was equipped with a 16-speed partial power shift transmission, which included 16 forward and 4 reverse gears, providing smooth and efficient operation. The tractor also had hydrostatic power steering and differential hydraulic wet disc brakes, enhancing its maneuverability and safety.
In terms of operator comfort, the Allis-Chalmers 7010 offered an Acousta-Cab with heat as standard, and optional air-conditioning, radio, and 8-track player.
