About the Allis-Chalmers WC
The WC was an important early row-crop tractor built by Allis-Chalmers. It was also the first tractor tested on rubber tires at the Nebraska Tractor Test Laboratory. With its four-speed transmission and row-crop design, it was well suited to general farm work.
The WC was built from 1933 through 1948. In 1938, starting at serial number WC74330, Allis-Chalmers introduced the styled WC with a rounded radiator and larger tires.
