About the Allis-Chalmers 7060
The Allis-Chalmers 7060 was a 7000 Series six-cylinder diesel tractor rated at about 192 horsepower. It used power steering, independent PTO, wet-disc brakes, and the larger hydraulic and transmission systems used on the later 7000 Series models.
The 7060 was built from 1974 through 1981. At serial number 6001 in 1978, it received the Accousta Cab II, new console shifting, updated seating and lighting, and a change from the orange chassis to black.
