About the Allis-Chalmers WF
The Allis-Chalmers WF was the standard-tread counterpart to the row-crop WC. It used a four-cylinder gasoline engine, four-speed transmission, and a standard front axle for general farm work rather than cultivating between rows.
The WF was built from 1937 through 1951. Early tractors had the square radiator, while the styled WF began during the 1940 production year and continued through 1951. The serial number table shows where the change occurred.
