The Allis-Chalmers 8010 opened the 8000 Series in 1982. It used a six-cylinder diesel, independent PTO, hydrostatic power steering, and a standard Acousta cab with heat and air conditioning.
The 8010 was available as a two- or four-wheel-drive row-crop tractor, with a high-crop version also offered. It followed the 7010 and introduced the 8000 Series design used by the 8030, 8050, and 8070.
Serial number locations: The tractor serial number appears on a decal on the left side of the frame just ahead of the fuel tank. It is also stamped into the casting at the rear of the tractor, above and to the left of the PTO shaft.
