About the Allis-Chalmers 7580

The Allis-Chalmers 7580 was a large four-wheel-drive tractor introduced in 1976. Its six-cylinder diesel, 20-speed partial power-shift transmission, independent PTO, and standard Acousta cab were designed for pulling power across large fields.

The 7580 remained in production through 1981 and was followed by the 4W-220. Its four-wheel-drive chassis and large fuel capacity made it a distinct model from the two-wheel-drive tractors in the 7000 Series.
