Allis Chalmers D14 Tractor Parts

About the Allis-Chalmers D14

The D14 opened the Allis-Chalmers D Series in 1957 as a new compact tractor for row-crop and general farm work. Its 149-cubic-inch four-cylinder engine was available for gasoline or LP gas, and the four-speed transmission could be paired with a transfer case for more gear choices. The D14 was equipped with the Power Director hand clutch, which gave the operator live PTO control without stopping the tractor.

Built through 1960, the D14 sits between the older CA and WD-era tractors and the D15 that followed it. The serial number table below can help identify the tractor's year.

Serial Number Reference

Serial number locations: The tractor serial number is stamped at the left front end of the torque tube. The engine serial number is on the rear left-hand side of the engine, behind the carburetor.
